Manor Park is blessed with much green space and parkland which is available for public enjoyment and just minutes from downtown!! Some of it is highly organized, some of it is simply green and lovely. Just remember to leave it cleaner than you found it.
Manor Park School Park
While the land on which Manor Park Public School is located I owned by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, much of it is rented by the City of Ottawa and maintained as a public park There are baseball diamonds which are rented our by the city, a soccer field, a children’s play area with a small wading pool, tennis court and swings. The city also co-operates with the Manor Park Community Council in providing a skating rink during the winter months.
Anthony Vincent Park
This is hard to find if you don’t know where to look. Reached either by the foot paths that take you across manor Park from Arundel to Eastbourne or through a small gap between the houses on Farnham this is simply a green space.

This is the open area north off Sandridge Road and south of the river. It is NCC property and is essentially left alone, with the exception of a few benches and car parks. The area to the south of Rockcliffe Parkway also contains an emerging swamp area full of interesting things.
NCC Green Space
The land surrounding the Rockcliffe Parkway belongs to the NCC. There are several parking places along the Parkway where one can stop and watch the RCMP horses, or picnic by the river. As well, there is a gate at the end of Blasdell which gives on to a small creek and parkland, which is great for dog walking.
MacKay Lake
MacKay Lake and its little twin, Pond Lake, can be best reached by taking Sandridge Road. You will enjoy seeing an assortment of ducks passing through during migration times.
