Emerald Ash Borer (EAB)
This invasive insect that kills ash trees does not travel far in life. Instead, it travels most commonly on wood moved from one area or community to another, such as from a cottage to the city. May 16-23, 2011 has been declared Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week in an effort to help people better understand the effects of the EAB.
