September 2010 Rocke Robertson and Michael Keleher - for the masterful fireworks they organized to celebrate Canada Day in Manor Park. Heritage Canada - for their contribution to our Canada Day festivities through the "Celebrate Canada" grant awarded to the MPCC.
Our fantastic Junionr Leaders at our Summer Day Camps, without whom everyone would have had just a little less fun! Ottawa Marathon Volunteers - and there were a lot of you! 0 for the stellar job at the Eastbourne Water and Gel stations. Volunteers provided music, filled thousands of cup with water and Gatorade, gave out gel packs and then tidied it all up. Local Heroes at the Ottawa Fire Department - for visiting the Manor Park Community Centre with their pumper trucks during Wonderful Wednesdays.
