211 is an information and referral service. Callers are connected to a full range of non-emergency community, social, government and health services information. Information and referral specialists are fully bilingual and can provide assistance in an additional 150 languages.
Municipal services: 311
Connects residents with its 'one-stop' Municipal Contact Centre, providing answers on everything from recreation and marriage licenses to recycling and parking.
This service operates Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, however urgent calls are accepted outside of business hours for urgent issues such as broken water mains, traffic lights not functioning, or bylaw services such as noise complaints, parking enforcement or animal control services.
